The Rules of Role Playing. {PLEASE READ}

The Rules of Role Playing on The Golden Wood. Please read before joining in a role play.

• Respect other players and their characters. That means no flaming of any kind.
  
  
• No god modding. This is an absolute rule.
  
  
• Don't over power your characters. If you are playing a very powerful canon character {i.e. Phoenix form X-Men}, some limitations will be placed on your character.
  
  
• Please try to post at the very minimum two times a week. If you are going to be away for a long time, please just let me know in one of the discussion threads.
  
  
• Posts should be at least a decent sized paragraph in length. Understandably this isn't always possible, but shorter posts should be treated as an exception.
  
  
• Please try to use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation, it makes it so much easier. And whatever you do, never use text speak because I will delete your post.
  
  
• In the case of unexplained absence for over two months, the player in question will have their bio removed to the Archived bio thread. If they return and want to resume their character, they may PM me to discuss this.
  
  
• One last point: I don't want to be tyrannical but I want the RP's to be as enjoyable as possible for everyone, so please take note of the rules and it shouldn't be a problem.

I probably shouldn't post here but I'd like to reiterate Fi's last point; don't assume she's just being heavy handed for no reason, she and I and many other members have personal experience with excellent roleplays going wrong because the players don't appreciate the rules and respect one another. It's a real shame when it happens and we don't want it happening here.
